Why do we have to be flexible in our work.
I think that because i have different types of classes,Automech,Bmets, night welding classes, block courses and so on.This in itself makes you flexible because each class is different and the students are doing different work and projects. The bmets and block courses are assessed by their competency and by passing the relevant unit standards.Automech are assessed on their achievements, standard of work and by using project based learning. The night  welding classes achieve by doing the various welding techniques and are then critiqued on their performances. As you can see a great deal of flexibility is used and formalised to accommodate each class because no one class is the same.Night classes are shown what to do and are then encouraged to do the same, other classes can use moodle or you tube learning and then others use textbook units that they have to complete. Again being flexible for the different learners and the different classes.

  1. Nick your teaching certainly has a lot of variety. Flexibility is apparent in the timing of the courses and the delivery and logistics - night classes and block courses. You also mention project-based learning, and online resources - which dimensions of flexibility do these aspects fit under?

It will be good to see an example of how one of your courses fits into the Table - the dimensions of flexibility. Maari has filled this in for her example. See: http://narrate2012.blogspot.co.nz/
You will only be able to view this if you have sent her your email on Moodle as it is by invite only.
